26 magical stories about an ordinary boy with a very special pair of boots.

William is a fun-loving six year old, who likes doing all the things that other six year olds like. But one thing sets William apart from other children - his red boots. When William's mother bought him a new pair of boots he discovered a note inside: "These are Wish Wellingtons, put them on and make a wish".

William can wish himself anywhere or ask for anything he wants - which can sometimes get him into a spot of bother.

The narrator was Andrew Sachs who is best known for his work in Fawlty Towers.
